Create a Public Group

Add a new small group, Bible study or life group that shows up in your public Group Finder, so anyone can find it and join. You'll go from a blank form to a live group page in under two minutes. On the Groups page, click Add Group and pick Public Group. Anyone can see it and ask to join. Give it a name. Add a short description. This is what people read before they join. A Group Type fills in that type's default settings, but we'll leave it at None. Now set when and where it meets. You can also fill this in later. Click Create, and you land on your new group's page, already marked Public and Open. One more step for a public group: its public page starts switched off. Click Enable sharing, and the group is live in your Group Finder.
