* Approximate competitor prices as of 2026-07 — check their site for current figures. Online giving on every platform passes through standard card/processing fees from the payment provider (verify current rates on each provider's site); TimelyChurch adds no platform fee on top. People, giving, scheduling, check-in, accounting, website, and messaging — one login, one dashboard, no modules to bolt together.
These are real, capable platforms. If one of these is a better fit for your church, we'll happily tell you so.
Its Services (worship & service planning) module is best-in-class with no real peer, backed by a large integration ecosystem and a strong Church Center member app. Trusted by 80,000+ churches. Excellent for larger, multi-staff churches that want a broad app ecosystem to assemble.
Famous for being the "World's Easiest ChMS" — genuinely easy to use with well-regarded support. A strong flat-rate all-in-one (~$72/mo as of 2026-07) with email and text messaging, check-in, and QuickBooks integration. A great fit for small–mid churches that want the simplest flat-rate all-in-one.
TimelyChurch vs Breeze →A genuinely broad feature set for an unbeatable price — including real fund accounting (general ledger, reconciliation, financial reporting) starting around ~$6–9/mo (as of 2026-07). The value leader for budget-conscious churches that want a lot of features cheaply and don't mind a more utilitarian interface.
TimelyChurch vs ChurchTrac →Subsplash offers best-in-class custom-branded native apps + media/streaming/content. Pushpay brings giving optimization, donor analytics, and enterprise ChMS depth (via CCB). Premium, quote-based platforms built for mid-to-large US churches prioritizing a custom app, media platform, or advanced giving.
Some of what follows the others do too — we say so plainly. But a few of these you genuinely won't find in most church platforms.
Everything's included — no per-module stacking, no per-seat fees. See plans & pricing →
Real double-entry books that auto-post donations and auto-record Stripe fees. Simple checkbook or full accounting — switch anytime. Replaces QuickBooks for most churches.
Online giving runs on Stripe. Stripe's standard card processing applies — TimelyChurch adds no platform fee on top.
Two-way messaging: members confirm serving with Yes/No/Snooze, ask questions, get rich messages — no per-message cost. Why Telegram →
English, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, and German — the whole app and this site. By their own support docs, Breeze and Planning Center are English-only. For immigrant, bilingual, and international churches, that’s a real difference.
Your congregation submits and up-votes questions live during a service, right from their phones — no download. With most platforms you’d bolt on a separate tool; here it’s part of the system.
People, giving, books, check-in, website, and comms in a single modern interface built for volunteers — not a stack of separate apps to juggle. (Breeze is famously easy too; where we differ is having the whole church in one place, not several tools.)
Full People CRM, Events, scheduling, Sermons, and Messaging at no cost — start free and pay only when you grow.
Real double-entry books — built in, not bolted on.
The Schedule Grid: auto-fill a fair rotation, confirm in Telegram.
If any of these is a dealbreaker for you, one of the platforms above may fit better — and that's OK.
We're an installable PWA — "add to home screen," works like an app with no download or app-store fee. If you specifically need a custom-branded native app, Subsplash or Planning Center's Church Center are built for that.
We don't yet integrate a background-check service (e.g. MinistrySafe). If automated volunteer screening is essential to your process today, factor that in.
Because so much is built in, we don't need as many add-ons — but our third-party integration marketplace is smaller than Planning Center's. If you rely on a broad ecosystem of external tools, that's a real consideration.
We chose Telegram over paid SMS deliberately: two-way, rich, and free of per-message costs. The honest tradeoff is that members install the free Telegram app once. If you truly need plain SMS to every phone with zero member setup, that's worth weighing. Here's why we chose Telegram →
Free data migration is included with every plan. We bring over your people, families, groups, and giving history for you, so trying us out costs you nothing but the decision.
The best way to compare is to try it. Start free — no credit card required — and see how it feels for your team.
